*North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA): Naples Equestrian Challenge is a proud member of NARHA. There are over 700 therapeutic riding centers affiliated with NARHA who serve over 300,000 children in North America & Canada.
*Community Foundation of Collier County: has supported NEC with grants for staff education, communication, and property related items. The CFCC also holds frequent workshops and seminars at their Center for Excellence helping local charities build stronger non-profit ogranizations.
*Naples Children & Education Foundation (founders of the Winter Wine Festival: We have benefited from NCEF grants for the past 5 years. During that time, NCEF has sponsored Summer Camps, additional program horses, encouraged the program's growth, helped support the program's operations, and funded our wonderful Covered Riding Arena.
*United Way: NEC has been a member agency of the United Way of Collier County since January 2001. When the United Way first took us under their wing, NEC had 24 riders, 3 horses, 1 instructor, and only held lessons on Saturday mornings. We now have almost 100 riders, own 10 horses, and have 6 active NARHA Certified Riding Instructors. Over the past 3 years, NEC's Board of Directors has been working to reduce our reliance on the United Way, working towards our long term goal of self-sufficiency.
