BAILEY

"Strike A Bailey" was a Western Pleasure horse before he joined us at NEC.  He is a perfect gentleman whose affection wins over anyone who visits the barn.

"My Golden Boogie" is a very sweet and loving mare.  She is extremely affectionate and loves being groomed and fussed over.  She survived colic surgery and we are very grateful to her previous owner (Tiffany) for running a lemonade stand which raised a total of over $10,000.00 to cover her medical expenses.

"Dynamite" was born in Wyoming and rounded up at the age of 4.  He has Dressage training and was quite the handsome fellow at horse shows.  He is very kind, gentle, and loves all the children as well as his career at NEC.

GARTH

Garth is the longest serving member of our team and is always ready to show the "newbies" the ropes.  He is very popular with our visitors and newcomers to the program.  Garth performs outreach and public relation duties for NEC.

KOKOMO JOE

Joe has become known as our gentle giant.  He is a very loving boy who strives to do his best as a therapy horse.  Joe used to be a Hunter/Jumper, but is now extremely happy keeping all 4 feet on the ground!

"KZ Two Tone Kid" is a former barrel racer and bole bender.  He is very gentle, steady, and aims to please.  He is adjusting well to his new career as a therapy horse and is fitting right in with the rest of the equine family.

NICK

"Nickel Less" used to be a Hunter/Jumper but is enjoying the change of pace at NEC.  His owner, Tina Havemeier graciously allows us to use Nick for our program.  He is a favorite with the riders, volunteers, and instructors alike.
